Hefazat-e-Islam Central Deputy Secretary General Muhammad Mamunul Haque
Hefazat-e-Islam Central Deputy General Secretary Muhammad Mamunul Haque was detained together with a woman at the Royal Resort in Sonargaon, Narayanganj. From there he was rescued by party leaders and activists. He later introduced the woman as his wife. Confusion spread across social media about the incident on Saturday night. That is why Mamunul Haque explained the matter on his Facebook page in the presence of relatives. He also urged the people of the country not to give any confusion or any other statement on the matter.
Hefazat leader Mamunul Haque posted a long status on his Facebook ID around 8am on Sunday. The title of the article is ‘A Story of Human Marriage’.
Mamunul Haque’s article has been a standout among online readers of our time.
The story of a human marriage
‘Hafez Shahidul Islam is one of my closest colleagues. One of my two or four collaborators in organizing work. Our relationship is quite old. The depth of the relationship extends to the perimeter of the family. Traveling to other people’s homes with our family takes a long time to get there. I used to be your family’s tutor on that formula. They approached me for advice on family matters. His life was spent with a small family of two children. At one stage, monogamy begins between husband and wife. From monogamy to arguments and tensions in relationships begin.
Today three years ago. Then I tried to keep his family alive. Talk to both of them. But somehow it was not possible. They are separated. Hafeez Shahidul Islam founded his second family after the divorce. I read that marriage. He lives happily and peacefully with his second wife. Another baby was born in that house. On the other hand, Hafez became the wife of Shaheed Bhai and was left very helpless. A kind of kulkinarahin. He broke the family in anger and fell into a deep crisis. In that situation it was difficult for him to earn a living. Naturally, he took refuge in me. Advises what to do in emergent situations. And he had no one but me to help him through those difficult times.
I assume your financial responsibility from the Islamic point of view and the place of guardianship. You have to keep in touch with me regularly for guidance on life’s tasks. In this situation, having a relationship with a foreign woman in this way seems risky to me from a Shariah point of view.
So I do not decide, as long as I have to take care of him, I will not take care of him like a stranger, but in light of Islamic law, I will build a legal relationship. I speak with people close to me about the matter and inform them about it. For two years now, I have been protecting her in this light from a human and Islamic point of view, and I believe that I have done a virtuous act in taking care of a defenseless woman.
What I have said, I can swear by the name of Allah a thousand times. I can also swear by Kullama to make the matter credible. Even after revealing the matter, I demand justice from Allah, the administration and the people for the inhuman treatment and attack that I was given by the thugs of the Awami League of the Juba League. Demonstrating their attack and behavior in the presence of the police, it is not possible to move with dignity or with the safety of life in Bangladesh today.
Early last night, she came to Facebook Live and talked about getting married and going for a walk. The Hefazat leader said: “Right now, there is a fight all over the country, there is tension between us.” Confusion has also been created throughout the country. I came to Facebook Live to give the real details of that incident. We are here to present the statement to the media as a family, hopefully no one tries to give any confusion and any other statement after our statement.
I went to the Sonagaon Museum, a beautiful place in Sonargaon near Dhaka, to rest. My wife was there. There is some confusion and confusion about the identity of the wife. The one with me was my second married wife. Attempts have been made to mistake him for his witness. Mr. Mosharraf, the police officer present there, after hearing all the information from me and verifying his evidence, confirmed the matter.
The one who was with me was a very close friend, my colleague’s ex-wife. After two and a half years of fighting with her … she has two children. So from that source I arranged the marriage in the presence of some of my close friends as family. It was through that marriage that he married my legitimate BB (wife).
The local police administration was satisfied with my statement. But there were some local Juba League and some responsible government party workers present with those local journalists. (They) have misbehaved to me. In addition, the leaders carried out attacks and attacks in a terrorist manner by recording live video.
When they broadcast the video live, the compatriots were aware of these issues. So the people of the country heard my speech there. It has gone viral across the country after the identity of the family was clearly highlighted. Sensing a large presence of devout local Muslims, they came to rescue me from their hands. Therefore, I urge you not to spread misleading information on this subject.
