He said his daughter-in-law and older sister had a dispute with their son. However, he never said what caused the dispute. The father claimed that Mamun was murdered because he learned of his wife’s extramarital affair. He demanded a fair trial and the execution of the murderers.
Keraniganj Model Police Station OC Kazi Mainul Islam said: ‘I have visited the place. Since the incident is mysterious, the necessary action will be taken subject to a proper investigation. Mamun’s wife has been arrested. The victim’s father, Abdul Razzak Mia, filed a case with the police station.
