But I feel the pain of people more. The opponents are conspiring. The pain of democracy is great. I hit the road today after receiving strength from the people. My life has been through many ups and downs. Nandigram wanted to kill me on the move on earth. Saved again. The doctors told me to rest. But now is not your time. I’ll scatter all over Bengal with a broken leg.

He then told activist supporters: “The game will end. Will definitely play. ‘
