BNP Major (retd) Vice President Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, who received notice of cause for the show, called a press conference on Saturday. The conference will take place at 11 am at Banani’s residence in the capital. The party’s top leader spoke in detail about the cause of the BNP show there.

On Monday, the BNP issued a notice of demonstrative cause to two BNP vice presidents, Commander (retired) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed and journalist Shawkat Mahmud. Both have been accused of participating in anti-party activities.
They have been accused of misleading leaders and workers using the party’s name. Shawkat Mahmud has been asked to provide a written response to the central office within 72 hours and Hafiz Uddin Ahmed within five days to explain why no organizational action will be taken against them.
In this regard, the senior vice president of BNP (retired), Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, told Jugantar: “I have received a letter from the party.” I am preparing a reply to the letter. I will present my position at the press conference on Saturday.
