The ship was inaugurated by the Minister of State for Maritime Transport, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, and the Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Tourism, Mahbub Ali, at the Karnafuli Ship Builders jetty in Anwara, on the south bank of the Karnafuli River, the Sunday afternoon. He then left Chittagong for Cox’s Bazar with about two thousand tourists.

His mother was fascinated by the curtains on the windows in the air-conditioned room. At that time music was playing on the deck of the ship. Furthermore, the enchanting magical performance was to attract passenger children. Many people lined up at the end of the ship for coffee to get through the winter.

Karnafuli Ship Builders officials said the ship has a presidential suite with a minimum price of Tk 2,000 to Tk 30,000. It has 16 VVIP cabins, 26 luxury cabins and more than 700 seats of different quality.

Now the capacity to carry two thousand passengers at a time has been developed.
Mentioning that ‘Bay One’ has added a new dimension to the country’s blue economy, a tourist named Sakhawat Hossain said: ‘Like neighboring countries, we also have the opportunity to build a maritime tourism industry. But our tourism industry lags behind South Asian countries. If the government is a little sincere in the development of the tourism industry in Sagarakendi, foreign tourists will come to our country like Singapore and Malaysia.
Bay One will be a milestone in the country’s tourism industry, said the young tourism entrepreneur. Sabab Hossain told Kaler Kantha, “Luxury cruises can be operated not only on the Cox’s Bazar-St. Martin, but also on the Barisal and Sundarbans routes.
