Three people were killed when a minibus lost control and entered a shop in the Muhuri Project Gate area of ​​Mirsarai Upazila in Chittagong. Another 10 people were injured in the incident.

The incident took place around 9 p.m. on Friday. Jorarganj police and the Mirsarai fire service arrived at the scene and carried out a rescue operation. The victims are all residents of the local Osmanpur Union.

According to eyewitnesses and Zorarganj police sources, a minibus was coming from Sonagazi to the Zorarganj area in Mirsarai around 9pm on Friday. As it passed the Muhuri Project Bazaar, the minibus lost control and entered the Raju cooling corner. Shaon (25) and Shifat (26) died on the spot.

In addition, between 10 and 12 people were seriously injured while sitting in the tent. Maulana Mosque Imam Shahidul Islam (38) died on the way to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (Chamek) after rescuing them. Among the injured, CNG drivers Elias (34) and Farid (32) are said to be in critical condition.

Witness Nizam Uddin, a local businessman, said the minibus was empty. Nothing happened to the driver. However, the driver recklessly pushed the mike into the cooling corner.

Jorarganj police recovered the minibus from the scene. In this regard, the investigating officer of the incident, SI Joydrut Chakma from Jorarganj Police Station, said that such an incident is really undesirable. The victims have been rescued.
