Barrister Shihab Uddin Khan, a Supreme Court attorney, sent the notice Thursday on behalf of an HSC candidate named Shatabdi Roy, a student at Mofazzal Momena Chakladar Women’s College in Savar.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Education, the Department of Secondary and Upper Secondary Education, the Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education and the President of 9 Boards of Education have been named as defendants in the notification.

According to the notice, at a ministry press conference on October 8, it was decided to prepare the results of upper secondary education based on the results of the JSC and SSC instead of the 2020 upper secondary exam. But the preparation of results high school based on JSC and SSC results will deprive many more students, including reporters, of expected high school results. Therefore, if the exam cannot be taken due to Corona, the HSC results will be evaluated based on the results of the college selection exam (test) taken prior to Corona.

In the notice, the student said: ‘Although he earned a GPA-5 at JSC, he earned a GPA 4.22 as he was unable to take the full preparation due to illness during the SSC. The GPA-5 will not be as expected if the JSC and SSC results are averaged. He is frustrated with this.

If no action is taken within three days of receiving the notice, a petition for a warrant will be filed in Superior Court.
