Legal action if he says anything about his wife: Nasir

A case has been brought against cricketers Nasir Hossain and Tamima Sultana Tammi for marrying someone else’s wife without divorce papers. Tamima’s ex-husband, Rakib Hasan, presented the case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim on Wednesday. On the other hand, Nasir Hossain appeared at the press conference with his wife Tammi on the afternoon of the case.
At the press conference, Nasir said: ‘Tamima Tammi is now my wife. Now it’s Tamima Hossain. Telling him something means telling me. I am a cricketer for the national team. Many like it, many don’t like it. I do not accept all this. But I won’t give up if I say something irrational about my wife. If necessary, I will take legal action. Nasir’s lawyer said he would file a libel lawsuit against Tamima’s ex-husband, Rakib.
In response to a question from reporters, Tammi said: ‘I divorced Rakib in 2016. Then I became involved in a relationship with Nasir. In early 2019, Nasir shared a photo of me with him via social media. Then there is a lot of discussion and criticism about this image. It was then that Nasir announced that he would marry me. When asked if she had any contact with her daughter, Tamima Tammi said: “I had contact with my daughter all the time. The girl was with me until 2019. But Rakib from 2019 took the girl without telling anyone. So I was on a flight. My mother was unable to contact me and presented a GD at the police station. I was unable to take legal action because I was out of the country.
