Premika (18) has stayed at her boyfriend’s house in Mymensingh for three days demanding marriage. Her boyfriend Arif Mia (21) has fled from the scene.

Boyfriend Arif Mia is the son of Ruhul Mia from Suhila Budhbaria village in Sadar upazila. On Tuesday (September 29), the lover is staying at the home of his boyfriend Arif Miah in the Suhila Budhbaria village of the Upazila.

Sources said that since last Sunday (September 27), the mistress has been demanding marriage to Arif Mia, son of Ruhul Mia from Suhila Budhbaria village in Sadar upazila.

“I had a love affair with Arif for a long time,” he said. In a stage of love, Arif had sex more than once to marry me.

“A few days ago, my family married me elsewhere against my will,” he said. But Arif used to threaten me in various ways. When he promised to marry me, I left my husband’s house and went to my father’s house. Later he began to make various excuses to marry me.

Premika said, in such a situation I will stay at Arif’s house to demand marriage. Arif has been running away from home since I got here. Meanwhile, my husband does not accept me. If Arif doesn’t marry me, I have no choice but to kill myself.

The young woman’s mother said: “I married my daughter elsewhere.” But Arif didn’t let the girl stay there. She will bring her daughter from her husband’s house to marry. My daughter is coming to Arif’s house last Sunday.

He said Arif has been on the run ever since. When the matter was reported to the police, they drove to Arif’s home on Monday (September 27) and was assured by neighbors that the matter would be resolved. But so far no one has been able to submit the perfect solution, which is not strange.

The Kotwali SI Shahidul Islam Police Station said: “I went to the scene on Monday (September 28) after the girl’s mother made a written complaint.” The girl’s mother agreed when locals assured her that the matter would be resolved. Then I left. However, no agreement was reached until the latest news was received. Legal action will be taken in this regard.
