Savar (Dhaka): Police arrested three members of the Prince Kishore gang after a video was posted a month later of them raping two girlfriends at Savar’s Ashulia.
They were arrested in the early hours of Wednesday (October 6) in the areas of Vadail and Nayarhat in Ashulia.
At the beginning of August 30, the two girlfriends were raped by the gang while traveling with two teenagers who were tenants of the same house.
The arrested members of the gang are Daimon Alamin (14), Zakir (13) and Pan Rakib (18). Pan Rakib has been reported to sell vegetables from time to time in the Vadail area. The other two are students. They are all members of the Prince Teen Gang.
The other members of the gang are: team leader Saruf, his associates Almin, Zidane, Redwan and a few more.
Israfil, a teenager who went out for a walk with the victims, said the two girlfriends were working in a rented hair factory in the Vadail area of Ashulia. About 35 days ago, they went to the Guliarchak area of Vadail with two teenagers who were tenants of the same house. At the time, they were surrounded by between 12 and 14 members of the Prince Kishore gang. Two teenagers who went for a walk with the victim were interrogated and beaten and kept in one place. Subsequently, 12 teenagers took turns raping the victims and recorded the video. When the video was leaked, the victim’s two girlfriends were forced to move to town.
It emerged that about a month after the incident the video was leaked due to the gang’s internal conflict of teenagers. Subsequently, the police arrested the three rapists through a video they captured.
Ashulia Police Station (SI) Deputy Inspector Aswadur Rahman told banglanews that although no complaint was received immediately after the video was leaked, the Ashulia Police Station launched an investigation. Subsequently, three members of the gang were arrested in a raid. Continue the operation to stop the rest.
