A phone conversation between defender Kamrul Islam, a former ruling party minister and a member of parliament for the Dhaka-2 constituency, has gone viral on social media.

Kamrul Islam filed the case at the Kamrangirchar Police Station on Friday evening on behalf of local food operator Ali Ahmed and alleged journalist Kanak Sarwar, who is now abroad.

Mostafizur Rahman, officer in charge of the Kamrangirchar police station, confirmed the matter to the media on Saturday night.

According to the complaint lodged at the Kamrangirchar Police Station, as an elected representative, he has to arbitrate various incidents in the area. Hundreds of cases have not been filed in the last 12 years due to arbitration.

Furthermore, in the guilty plea of ​​the case, as it was not possible to resolve the dispute face-to-face during the fatal coronation, he took the initiative to resolve the recent accusation over the phone. He called Ali Ahmed and asked him to comment on the allegations. But Ali Ahmed recorded the conversation with malicious intent and provided it to a Konak Sarwar. Kanak Sarwar made it viral on YouTube.

In this regard, OC Mostafizur Rahman said that efforts are being made to arrest Ali Ahmed, a local food operator based in the country.
