The district Awami League legal secretary, Ruhul Amin Rizvi, was arrested in connection with a digital security law case for making indecent comments on Facebook-Messenger about the Awami League Advisory Council member and spokesperson for 14 parties, Amir Hossain Amu, MP and his daughter. Sheikh Mohammad Rabbi, deputy general secretary of the BCL district, was arrested in the case on the night of December 6. He has been in preventive detention for two days.
