The Minister of Lands, Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, inaugurated on Wednesday the process of converting the registration rooms of 21 districts into electronic or digital services of citizen service in the conference room of the Ministry of Lands with the theme ‘Land service in the palm hand in hand ‘.

Dhaka, Faridpur, Narsingdi, Gopalganj, Tangail, Shariatpur, Kishoreganj, Madaripur, Narayanganj, Rajbari, Manikganj, Chittagong, Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Mymensingh, Netrokona, Panchagarh, Kurigram, Rangganjgan and Siragarh. 1 crore 7 lakh 8,624 Diyara ledgers will be available in the digital record room.

The land minister said: “The digital records room will reduce harassment in collecting land ledgers. The number of people going to the district administration office to collect books will be reduced. Also, there will be no more harassment of runners. “

According to the Ministry of Lands, a total of 98,445 mouzas have been published under various surveys.

If you only need a certified copy when ordering the ledger online, you must go to the district administration office to pick it up.

Acceptance and supply of a duplicate CS / RS / SA / BRS ledger application form through the archives section and records room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, issuance of duplicate case documents and lost cases, etc. It’s done.

Records room services were initially provided through district information service centers in 61 districts. As the registry is a very sensitive document for the citizen, the activities of the digital registry room have been carried out to make all this information more effective for the citizen.

Citizens can make use of this service online at the sites www.eporcha.gov.bd, www.land.gov.bd, www.dlrs.gov.bd, www.minland.gov.bd.

A total of 3 crore 96 lakh 56,113 CS, SA, RS and Diyara ledgers from 61 districts will be available online.

After 21 districts, the registration rooms of the remaining 40 districts (excluding the three hill districts) will be introduced as digital registration rooms.

The Land Survey and Records Department, in collaboration with A2I, has created a digital records room.

Minister Saifuzzaman said: “We are also working to ensure that an automated certified copy of the online ledger is available alongside the online ledger.”

He expects to complete digital record rooms across the country by next year.
