Kovid-19: 5 lakh of patients identified in the country

The latest information on the situation of Covid-19 in the country was given by the Department of Health by sending a notification to the media on Saturday afternoon.

The total number of people infected with coronavirus in the country has risen to 4.99,570 with 1,026 people identified as of 8 a.m.

The total number of deaths from coronavirus in the country has risen to 8,242, with 25 people dying in the last day.

According to the Health Department, 1,096 more patients undergoing treatment at home and in hospital have recovered in the last day. So far, the total number of healthy patients has risen to 4 lakh 35,601 people.

The first case of coronavirus was detected in Bangladesh on March 8. Of these, 4,019 patients with Kovid-19 were identified on July 2, which is the highest in a single day.

After 10 months, on October 28, the number of identified patients exceeded 4 lakh. Then the number of patients increased by 1 lakh in 24 days.

Bangladesh is ranked 26th in the world in terms of the Johns Hopkins University list and 33rd in terms of death toll.

On March 16, 10 days after the identification of the first patient, the Department of Health confirmed the first death report in the country. On June 30, 84 deaths were reported in a single day, the highest in a single day.

According to the Department of Health, in the last 24 hours, 12,300 samples have been analyzed in 113 RT-PCR laboratories, 16 gene expert laboratories and 29 rapid antigen laboratories throughout the country, which means a total of 180 laboratories. So far 30 lakh 72,374 samples have been tested.

So far, 24 lakh 41,242 samples have been tested under government management. And 6 lakh 21,122 have been under private management.

Considering the sample test in 24 hours, the detection rate is 10.30 percent, so far the total detection rate is 16.31 percent. The recognized recovery rate is 8.20 percent and the mortality rate is 1.45 percent.

Of those who have died in the last day, 18 are men and 8 are women. They all died in the hospital.

Of these, 15 were over 60 years old, 5 were between 51 and 60 years old, 2 were between 41 and 50 years old and 3 were between 31 and 40 years old.

The dead included 15 from the Dhaka division, 4 from the Chittagong division, 1 each from the Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and 2 from the Khulna and Mymensingh divisions.

Of the 6,242 people who have died in the country so far, 5,522 are men and 1,720 are women.

3,926 of them were over 60 years old. Also 1,752 people between the ages of 51 and 60, 652 between the ages of 41 and 50, 36 between the ages of 31 and 40, 156 between the ages of 21 and 30, 55 between the ages of 11 and 20, and 33 Had less than 10 years.

Of these, 3,959 were residents of the Dhaka Division, 1,343 of the Chittagong Division, 426 of the Rajshahi Division, 517 of the Khulna Division, 231 of the Barisal Division, 263 of the Sylhet Division, 326 of the Rangpur Division and 156 of Mymensingh Division.
