A lawsuit has been filed against the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, in a US court. Hatis Genghis, the lover of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, has brought the case against him as the mastermind of the murder. The accusations also allege that Mohammed bin Salman harmed the human rights organization founded by Khashoggi and Hatis Genghis.
In 2016, journalist Khashoggi was assassinated inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. The murder was ordered by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, an accusation MBS has always denied.
