Earlier on Monday (November 9) evening, the girl’s mother filed a case against Sohag Mia at the Gauripur Police Station.
Police said that two years ago, Sohag Mia took her older sister’s daughter home to take care of her own children. Sohag Mia has been raping the girl since the first week of October this year.
Recently, the girl stopped going to her mother’s house. The teenager’s mother goes to Sohag Mia’s house to find out why she stopped going to her mother’s house. Later, she visited Sohag Miah’s home and discovered that her aunt had raped her teenage daughter. Later, the girl’s mother filed a case at the Gauripur police station.
Gauripur Police Station OC Borhan Uddin said the defendant was arrested and sent to jail by court order. The girl was sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for a forensic examination.
