Jahangir and Asadul were arrested in Kaliganj in Hakimpur upazila on Friday morning.

Both arrested are drug addicts and there is a case against them, police said.
The attack took place on Wednesday night when Wahida Khanam and her father Omar Ali entered the UN residence on the Ghoraghat Upazila Parishad campus with a fan.

After surgery that night, doctors said Wahida Khanum’s condition was “promising.”
Sheikh Farid, brother of UNO Waheeda, filed a case against some unidentified people at the Ghoraghat police station on Thursday night, alleging attempted murder.
