Jeff Bezos has resigned as CEO of Amazon, one of the world’s largest e-commerce companies.
According to the BBC, Bezos founded Amazon about 30 years ago.

Bezos, the 57-year-old richest man in the world, will be replaced by Andy Jesse, who heads Amazon’s cloud computing division.
Amazon said the job change will be completed in the second half of this year.
In a letter to Amazon employees yesterday, Bezos said: “Being the CEO of Amazon is a difficult responsibility. When you have that responsibility, it’s really hard to focus on something else.
He added: “As CEO, I will continue to participate in important Amazon initiatives. But from day one, I want to focus more on the Bezos Earth Fund, Blue Origin, The Washington Post and my other initiatives. “
