It has been reported that a teenage girl was raped by tying her hands and feet by mixing anesthetic drugs in water. The incident took place in the village of Gabtala in the Pathrail junction of Delduar upazila de Tangail.

The student’s father filed a case against the two on Tuesday night. Police arrested the rapist’s accomplice overnight for being involved in the incident.

According to relatives, the 6th grade student went to visit the neighbor’s house last Saturday night. Soon after, Ratan, the son of Kamal Sikder from the same area, also came to the house. At this time, as previously planned, the neighboring aunt gives the cake to the teenager.

Later, when the girl wanted to drink water, her aunt tied her up and asked Ratan to fetch water from the house. Shortly after Ratan went to fetch water and fed him, he passed out. At that moment, with the help of the neighboring aunt, Ratan tied her hands and feet, raped the girl and left.

Meanwhile, when the girl did not return home, her older sister and her mother went looking for her and found her handcuffed at her aunt’s house.

When the matter came to light, Lumpat Ratan approached the victim’s mother and apologized and asked not to tell anyone.

On the other hand, when the local matabbars did not resolve the matter for three days, on Tuesday (November 3) evening, the victim’s father filed a rape case against Ratan and neighboring Aunt Sumi at the police station in Delduar.

In this regard, the Deputy Inspector (SI) of the Delduar Police Station and investigating officer of the Monowar Hossain case said that the girl’s father had filed a complaint against the rapist and his accomplice in the incident last night (November 3). The victim will undergo a physical examination at Tangail General Hospital on Wednesday.

Although Sumi, the second defendant in the case, can be arrested for cooperating in the rape, the rapist remains at large. Continue the operation to stop it.
