Israel’s terrible secret mission in Iran, the way Fakhriadeh was assassinated

Iran’s top nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, died in hospital on Friday after being seriously injured in an attack. Until then, most Iranians had no idea. But those who monitor Iran’s nuclear program know it well.

The West has always been concerned about Iran’s nuclear program. Especially Israel and the United States. As part of this, Israel launched an adventurous covert intelligence operation inside Iran a few years ago.

At the time, Israeli intelligence had entered a warehouse inside Iran under strict security measures and secretly removed 5,000 pages of information about Iran’s nuclear activities from a highly confidential vault there.

In April 2016, a few weeks after the incident, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released information about Iran’s nuclear program. At that moment, Mohsen pointed to the picture of Fakhriad that said “remember this name. Israel regards him as the mastermind of Iran’s nuclear weapons.

According to eyewitnesses and Iranian media, Fakhrizadeh was on his way to his father-in-law’s house in the Iranian city of Absurd on the day of the incident. He was accompanied by a team of security guards.

Suddenly, a flag car exploded at the intersection. At that moment the power line collapsed. At that moment security guards emerged from Fakhri’s Hyundai Santa Fi car and another group of security personnel appeared on a motorcycle. At that moment, a group of 12 assassins, who were already on the run, fired at random and left the scene quickly.

This was stated by Javed Moghaui, a documentary filmmaker with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran.

Fakhriad was shot three times in the body. He fell out of the car and got blood on the road. The power supply to the adjacent hospital was cut off. And the street cameras weren’t working either, so 12 assassins left the area unhindered. Fakhriade was rescued by a rescue helicopter and taken to a hospital in Tehran, where he was pronounced dead.

Javed Mogaui writes on his account that it looks a lot like a Hollywood action movie.

The latest addition after a decade of mysterious poisonings, car bombings, shootings and sabotage in Iran has taken a heavy toll in the Islamic Republic.

Most of these attacks are related to those involved in the nuclear program. And it is believed that behind all this is the hand of Israel, Iran’s archrival.

Between 2010 and 2012, four Iranian nuclear scientists were killed by assassins, and Iran has accused Israel of being involved in the killings.

However, the number of covert attacks that Iran suffered in 2020 was unprecedented. The assassination of this top Iranian scientist rekindled the misery of the country. In early January, Qasim Solaimani, the country’s top military officer on a visit to Iraq, was killed in a US drone strike. Iran also failed to provide adequate security. Then, in August, a senior Al Qaeda commander in Iran was shot and killed in public on the streets of Tehran by Israeli intelligence. This time, another prominent scientist was brutally murdered within the country near the capital itself. This shows once again how vulnerable Iran is within its own country.

Iran did not have the power to resist the attacks. Israel may be far ahead in carrying out such a successful attack by entering the enemy country.

The killings have left Iran in a state of confusion. Now, if Iran does not have to take revenge, it will have to forget this difficulty and start working with the newly elected US President Joe Biden.
