Iran is building another nuclear plant underground. This was recently stated by the head of the UN nuclear test agency. Last July, Iran’s current nuclear plant caught fire. Iran has claimed responsibility for the plot. A new nuclear power plant is being built, the UN envoy said.
The International Atomic Energy Agency works on nuclear issues at the United Nations. The CEO of the company is Rafael Gracie. He raised the issue of Iran in an interview with the Associated Press in Berlin. He said Iran has started work on building a new nuclear plant deep in the ground. Uranium has also started to accumulate. However, he said they did not yet have uranium for nuclear weapons.
Iran has long been in the headlines about the nuclear deal. The first satellite image in 2002 captured Natanz, Iran’s nuclear power plant. The western world is concerned. In 2003, UN representatives visited Iran’s nuclear reactor. They said the nuclear power plant was built 7.6 meters underground. Arrangements have also been made to avoid any damage to the aircraft. Anti-aircraft missiles have been deployed throughout the area.
Later, however, an attempt was made to disable that center in Iran with the help of computer viruses. But he did not succeed. Apparently the United States and Israel tried to do that. The West proposed a nuclear deal in 2015 to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. The agreement included several states, including the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom. It was said that even if Iran could conduct nuclear research, it could not develop nuclear weapons. The agreement also stipulates that no more than a certain amount of uranium can be deposited. But after Donald Trump came to power, Trump withdrew from the deal and imposed new sanctions on Iran. Which is a lot of confusion in international diplomacy. Although many countries, including the UK and France, are still in the deal, the deal actually has no reality.
Meanwhile, a fire broke out at Iran’s nuclear plant in July. Iran did not name anyone, but claimed the plot was set ablaze. The United Nations has said it is building a nuclear power plant. With which international diplomacy is likely to heat up again.
