Emdadul Haque, General Secretary of the Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB), an organization of broadband Internet service providers, told Prothom Alo that the reason for the increase in Internet subscribers is that you cannot do a lot without this service. The number of mobile phone subscribers is also increasing. At the end of September, the number of mobile phone subscribers was 16 crore 81 lakh. In March, there were 16 crore 53 lakh of mobile phone subscribers in the country. At the end of June, it was reduced to 4 million. Mobile phone subscribers have been on the rise since July.
