‘Intact corpse’ 21 years after burial

A body was found almost intact 21 years after his burial in Jhalakati. This has caused quite a stir in the area. Countless people crowd to see the corpse.

Speaking with local residents, it is known that Md. Charkathi village of Gabkhan Dhansindri union of Jhalokati Sadar upazila. Muzaffar Ali Hawladar died 21 years ago. His body was buried in the family cemetery near his home on the banks of the Bishkhali River. The town is about to disappear into the river. So the sons of the late Muzaffar Ali Hawladar took the initiative to move his grave on Tuesday morning. When the tomb was excavated, the funeral clothes of the deceased were found to be as they were. Even the corpse is intact. Only the skins mixed with the cup.

Said Muzaffar’s son Ali Hawladar. Abul Bashar said: ‘My mother died three months ago. I wanted to move my father’s grave to my mother’s grave, since my father’s grave was about to break in the river. A few days ago, one of my brothers dreamed of moving his father’s grave to another place. So I went to dig the grave on Tuesday morning. I dug the grave and saw that the burial cloth was as it was. Just as the body is intact. We bury our father’s body again next to my mother’s grave.
