The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has directed all schools and universities to organize educational tours with students in various historical places associated with national history, including the Tomb of the Father of the Nation, the Commemorative Complex of the War of Liberation of Mujibnagar. Field education officials have been asked to take the necessary steps to organize this educational tour under the supervision of teachers.
The directive was signed by Deputy Director (General Administration) Rupak Roy of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education on Tuesday.
According to the directive, students from different schools and colleges will be able to gain knowledge about the history and heritage of the Bangladeshi War of Independence by visiting the historical sites related to the War of Independence, including the Tomb of the Father of the Nation, Mujibnagar Complex. In addition, national establishments will always be highlighted in the students’ footsteps. If students express their feelings in writing at the end of the tour, more patriotism will be instilled in them.
The board further said that the Department of Education has directed the school and university students to organize educational visits to the graves of the Father of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Nation, the Mujibnagar Liberation War Memorial Complex and other places. under the supervision of teachers. This instruction has been sent to all field level education officers and principals of all public and private schools and university principals.
