Dhaka: To make up for the losses caused by the Corona epidemic, the government has ordered to publish the notice in the hiring notice without waiving the maximum age limit for job applicants.

On Thursday (September 18), the Ministry of Public Administration issued an order on March 25 instructing the secretaries and senior secretaries of all ministries / departments to publish a 30-year notice.

This training has been delivered in all statutory departments / directorates, agencies and autonomous organizations of all government ministries / departments for recruitment in various categories of government positions.

The letter said that despite general preparations, including direct authorization for recruitment before March 25, the corresponding authorities could not issue the notification due to the Covid-19 situation. All concerned ministries / departments are requested to take the necessary action.

After the country’s first crown patient was identified on March 8, public life gradually began to return to normal after a six-day public holiday starting on March 26. Aside from the office and court closing for that holiday, the hiring and employment notification process was also closed.

Regarding the letter, an official from the Ministry of Public Administrations told banglanews that the directive will apply to appointments that were cleared before March 25. Regardless of whether the calls approved before March 25 are published in any of the following months, the maximum age limit will be 30 years on March 25. This way, job seekers can make up for lost time when the hiring process closes.

Candidates have been demanding an increase in the age limit for entering government service to compensate job applicants for coronary leave.

The Minister of State for Public Administration, Farhad Hossain, had previously informed banglanews about the initiative to grant age exemption to job seekers.

On September 15, Farhad Hossain said that ministries or departments that were unable to advertise jobs after March 26 will publish the notice on March 25 for the age of 30. In this way, those who have exceeded 30 years of age during the coronation period can also apply.

The Minister of State for Public Administration, Farhad Hossain, told banglanews that the decision was made by the Ministry of Public Administration on the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
