Corona antigen testing has started in 10 districts of the country. Health Minister Zahid Malek launched the program on Saturday morning. Referring to the need for corona control and testing of medical samples, he said antigen testing would begin in all districts of the country as soon as possible. However, the antigen test results were supposed to be given in 30 minutes, but it was not possible in all districts on the opening day. Local representatives at the district level have sent detailed news about the corona antigen test.

Jessore: On the first day of the rapid antigen test, samples were collected from three people in Jessore until noon yesterday. All three have negative results. Said the caretaker at Jessore General Hospital. Dilip Kumar Roy said that a doctor, a technician and an IT specialist had brought training from Dhaka on antigen testing. At the end of the training, they brought a thousand kits to Jessore.

Madaripur: One of the four samples tested positive yesterday. Medical officer of the district civil surgeon’s office. HM Khaliluzzaman said the district health department had received 500 kits for the test. Samples will be collected every day from 11 am to 1 pm on the ground floor of the new 250-bed building.

Meherpur: The antigen test officially began yesterday morning at the General Hospital. On the first day, all three tested negative. Said the hospital keeper. Rafiqul Alam said: ‘We have 500 kits in the initial stage. Since the results will be known in a very short time, positive patients will receive treatment quickly.

Joypurhat: On the first day, samples were collected from 9 people at Joypurhat District Modern Hospital since yesterday morning. They all tested negative. Initially, 500 kits have been provided to this hospital for antigen testing. Resident Medical Officer Saiful Islam said the samples will be collected and analyzed daily from 10 am to 12 noon.

Panchagarh: On the first day of the temporary camp outside the modern Sadar Hospital, samples of three people with corona symptoms were collected and analyzed. One of them comes out positive. According to the district health department, 500-piece corona test kits have been provided in the Sadar Hospital laboratory. The samples will be collected and analyzed every day from 10 am to 2 pm.

Brahmanbaria: All arrangements for antigen testing have been made in a separate building from the General Hospital. The antigens were tested by collecting samples from six people as of yesterday afternoon. Two of them were positive.

Gaibandha, Munshiganj, Sylhet and Patuakhali are the other four districts where the corona antigen test began yesterday.
