Dhaka: State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said the factories would remain open for a week. There, workers will work shifts in accordance with hygiene standards.
The minister of state made the announcement at noon on Saturday (April 3).
The state minister of public administration also said that institutions that provide emergency services will remain open during the shutdown. And the factories will remain open where workers will be able to work in the factories following hygiene rules and several shifts.
On March 8 of last year, the first three people in the country were diagnosed with the corona virus. Ten days later, on March 17, the first person infected with the virus died in the country. Up to 9,155 people have died in the country as of April 2 of this year. So far, the total number of people identified is six lakh 24,594.
