The Ministry of Education has issued an order extending the deadline to provide information to educational institutions, teachers and officials to obtain grants. On Sunday (March 7), the Ministry’s Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education issued an order in this regard, according to the newly issued order, the information can be sent until March 15.

Earlier in the day, Ministry Information and Public Relations Officer MA Khair said: “The authorities are thinking of extending the application time. Grants will be awarded to a limited number of individuals and organizations after verification and selection of applications. It has been specially requested not to listen to any type of rumors in this regard.

The first time the online application for scholarships for educational institutions, faculty-staff and students was submitted was on January 18. The ministry said in a statement on the day: “You have to submit the application online between February 1 and 28.” Detailed instructions for applying were also given in the order. In addition, it was said: “You have to submit the application within the stipulated time, otherwise, the time will not be extended.”

However, if all the information did not reach the government within this deadline, on February 26 the Department of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education issued a notification extending the application deadline until March 8.

But many educational institutions were unable to apply until Saturday (March 8). For this reason, the deadline was extended until March 15 and today the order was reissued.
