In Noakhali Kompaniganj, members of a teenage gang openly beat and killed Hafez in a Koran. In this case, another 18-year-old boy named Omar is receiving treatment at the hospital. Upon receiving the news, the police carried out an immediate operation and arrested 6 members of the teenage gang.
The incident took place on KG Road in Hall 2 of the Rampur Union of the upazila around 9 p.m. Friday. He was later rescued in critical condition and taken to the Kompaniganj Upazila Health Complex. He died on the way to Noakhali General Hospital for advanced treatment.
The deceased was identified as 18-year-old Sheikh Jahed from Joynal Abedin Sareng’s home in the Muhrirtek area of the room. Rafiq Ullah’s son. The late Jahed was a Hafez and an electrician in the Koran.
Rezaul Haque Sohag, the deceased’s uncle, said 15-20 people, including Amir Hossain, Nur Hossain, Rased, Hridoy, Apu and other members of the Hridoy teen gang group from the same neighborhood, publicly beat Jahed to death by a trivial incident. Furthermore, the attacker was previously involved in various criminal activities in the area.
In this regard, the officer in charge (OC) of the Kompaniganj police station, Arifur Rahman, confirmed the truth of the incident and said that the police operation to find the exact cause of the murder and arrest the killers continues. The body of the deceased is found in the morgue of the Noakhali General Hospital. Later, the police will take legal action in this case.
