The letter read: “Lawyer (Ruhul Kabir Rizvi), the BNP’s deputy general secretary, has fallen ill and you (Syed Emran Saleh Prince) are requested to temporarily take over the BNP head office as an additional responsibility of the party until he recovers. “
Syed Emran Saleh Prince took office in the party office on Monday. “After meeting with Senior Deputy General Secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi at the hospital in the afternoon and briefing him on the matter, I started working at Naya Paltan on the instructions of the Acting Chairman of the party, Tareq Rahman,” he said.
Syed Emran Saleh Prince is the organizing secretary of the Mymensingh division team. Before that, he was the party’s co-central office and co-publicity secretary.
