A case has been recorded in Senbagh upazila of Noakhali alleging that a 19-year-old girl was taken from her father when stopping a battery-powered autorickshaw. On Friday night, the girl’s father filed a case against all three at Senbagh Police Station, naming one.
According to the case statement, the girl was married four months ago in Daganbhuiyan upazila de Feni. The father was going to Senbagh upazila from Noakhali in a battery-powered autorickshaw with his daughter on Friday night. Md. At six thirty in the afternoon. Three scoundrels led by Babul (22) stopped his autorickshaw. The scoundrels started beating the driver and passenger, father and daughter, as there were illegal things on the autorickshaw. Later, he dragged the three talented young women to the next garden. All three tried to rape the girl. After not raping, they tried to strangle the girl. Hearing the cries of father and daughter, the local people ran into the garden and the scoundrels fled. Later, people rescued the girl from the garden and sent her to the police station through the local president Nabipur Union Parishad (UP).
Senbagh’s Commissioned Police Officer (CO), Abdul Baten Mridha, confirmed the news of the case by claiming that he had taken the girl from her father and attempted to rape her. He said a case has been brought against Babul and three other people. No one has been arrested yet. An attempt is being made to arrest the accused.
