Indian passengers who fled to the Cox’s Bazar refugee camps on an unloading train due to a fight with a group of 14 Rohingya refugees were captured by police.

They were detained in the middle of a special train from Agartala, the capital of Tripura, to Delhi last week. BBC News.

According to Indian Railways, they had bought tickets under false names and none of them had valid identity cards.

The Rohingya were passengers on the Rajdhani Express, a fast-moving, air-conditioned special train from Agartala in Tripura to Delhi.

Of the 14, 10 were women, one was a boy, and the other three were men. When the train crossed Tripura and Assam and entered West Bengal, they had an argument with the other passengers in the room and a complaint was filed with the railway police.

On this basis, the police arrested them at the New Jalpaiguri station near the town of Siliguri on Tuesday night.

Shubhanan Chanda, chief spokesman for India’s Northeast Border Railway, told reporters that they had all bought tickets under different names and none of them had identification.
