He gave this warning at a protest rally and human chain organized by the Awami Bar Council of the Supreme Court on Wednesday afternoon to protest against the obstruction and vandalism of the Bangabandhu sculpture. The Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation, Fazle Noor Taposh, is the member secretary of the organization.

Addressing Babungari at the meeting held in front of the main gate of the Supreme Court, Tapas said: “We want to make it clear that insults to Bangabandhu, injuries to Bangabandhu, injuries to Bengal’s independence will never be tolerated by the ruthless Bengal children “.

“So you will stop and come to Qatar the way we are running this country as a nest of peace under the leadership of the people’s leader Sheikh Hasina or else the motto you once gave will be Bengali will be sent to Afghanistan “.

He said, “Mr. Babungari, you have forgotten. Think that breaking a sculpture will destroy the consciousness of the liberation war. We love peace, we are committed to making the country advance wonderfully.

“But this does not mean that you will lead the country back to militancy by diluting the water and hurting the spirit of the liberation war, the spirit of the father of the nation.” He will create that Bengali brother, he will put those war criminals back in power. We will not allow that opportunity to happen again in Bengal. ”

Citing war crimes trials and the crackdown on militancy, Fazle Noor Taposh expressed her determination to tackle fundamentalism.

He said: “Inshallah, under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, all fundamentalism will be eradicated from the heart of Bengal. We will eradicate all fundamentalism and all progressive forces in the spirit of the liberation war will carry forward the spirit of the liberation war in a united way again ”.

Tapas said: “The attack of this evil force in Bangabandhu is not new today. By killing the father of the nation in his own family in 1975, they thought that Bangabandhu would be eliminated from the bosom of Bengal. But it did not disappear. Because Bangabandhu means Bangladesh, Bangabandhu is the spirit of the liberation war. Bangabandhu is a conscience, an ideal, which is rooted in the heart of the Bengali nation. There is no way to remove it. It cannot be erased. ”

Recalling the role of lawyers in the country’s democratic movement, the Supreme Court lawyer said: “By breaking the sculpture, they thought they had won. We lawyers have responded with broken teeth whenever there have been unconstitutional activities. , whenever democracy has been attacked, when the spirit of the liberation war has been wounded. We are still ready to respond with broken teeth. “

AM Amin Uddin, President of the Supreme Court Bar Association, who is also the legal director of the state, has promised to do everything possible to bring to justice those who oppose, provoke and vandalize the Bangabandhu sculpture.

He said: “The defeated forces of 1971 who tried to push back Bangladesh by killing Bangabandhu in 1975, tried to wipe Bangladesh off the map of the world. That day they failed. Even today they won’t. ”

The head of the Supreme Court Bar Association said: “They are damaging the image of Bangabandhu. Therefore, they are completely violating Article 7 (a) of our Constitution. According to Article 6 (a) of our Constitution, insulting the portrait of Bangabandhu and the Father of the Nation would amount to treason.

“They don’t love this country. They do not recognize the existence of this country. So they are committing these bad deeds. We want to say out loud, we will bring in all those who will commit such injustices, will betray the country, will get involved under the law. We will bring each of them to justice. Each of them will face severe punishment in this country. They will be tried inshallah. ”

Lawyers Bashir Ahmed, Azhar Uddin Bhuiyan, Layekuzzaman Mollah, Mokhlesur Rahman Badal, Sanjida Khanam, SM Munir and many others also spoke at the protest rally.
