Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said: “Whenever the government started thinking about opening schools, the second wave of coronavirus would arrive. So I have given time until January 15 without opening the school thinking about our children. If the situation is good, then the school will open, otherwise we will not open. He also asked parents to read textbooks and other books for the mental development of students during the coronation period and to continue with cultural activities in addition to physical exercise and sports.
The prime minister said this when inaugurating the distribution of free textbooks to students of different levels, including pre-primary, primary and minority students from the 2021 academic year via video conference from Ganobhaban on Thursday morning. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said: “I believe that education activities will continue in various digital forms.” He further said: “Several educational institutions are conducting class activities by recording classes through online social media (Zoom, Messenger, Facebook group, YouTube), Kishore Batayan, Shikshak Batayan and uploading videos on YouTube. Therefore, our students can be homeschooled.
