Foreign Minister. Speaking with AK Abdul Momen, the Prime Minister of Bhutan recalled his student life in Dhaka. Lotte Shering. In particular, he mentioned the days when he arrived at the Bangabandhu Medical College in Shahbag in just 20 minutes driving a motorcycle from Gulshan every morning. After meeting the Prime Minister of Bhutan at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dhaka on Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. AK Abdul Momen told reporters: ‘He (Lotte Shering) is our son.

He studied here (in Bangladesh). He lived in Gulshan. He used to come to Bangabandhu Medical College. Drive a Honda to get there in 20 minutes. That too in the morning. It would have taken a long time to get out at 9 o’clock. Then he would leave in the morning. It took me a very short time to get on the Honda.

Prime Minister Lotte Shering is not new to Dhaka at all. During his visit to Bangladesh in the first Baishakh two years ago as Prime Minister, he rushed to the Mymensingh Medical College, his educational institution. Lotte Shering, who once studied in Bangladesh as a foreign student, is now receiving the VVIP protocol as Prime Minister. After Lotte Shering arrived in Dhaka yesterday morning, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and welcomed her. At the airport, the Prime Minister of Bhutan received a red carpet reception and an honor guard.

Shortly after Lotte Shering arrived in Dhaka, the Bhutan Prime Minister’s Office Facebook page and Twitter message read: “He has returned to that land again. This is practically his ‘second home’ (second address). It was here that he dreamed of being a doctor. But this time he has come as an envoy with the special prayers of His Excellency the King of Bhutan and the love of the people of Bhutan (for Bangladesh).

The Prime Minister of Bhutan visited the National Monument in Savar from the airport. There he paid tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the liberation war. After returning to Dhaka, he paid tribute to the memory of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum. After meeting him at the Intercontinental Hotel in the afternoon, the foreign minister told reporters that connectivity was also discussed with the Prime Minister of Bhutan. They are interested in using the waterways of this country.

Speaking with the Prime Minister of Bhutan about increasing people-to-people contacts, the Foreign Minister said: “We are increasing people-to-people contacts. We are thinking, we can start a direct flight from Dhaka to Thimphu. They (Bhutan) prefer the railways. We have to do some experimentation with Haldibari to Chilahati. ‘

The Foreign Minister referred to the arrival of the Prime Minister of Bhutan and his entourage in Bangladesh as a major event during the Kavid epidemic. He said that Bhutan is quite strict when dealing with Kavid. Needless to say, there is no death toll at Kavid. They have also received awards for it. Despite these restrictions, they have flown in to attend the celebrations in Bangladesh. Upon their return, all members of the delegation, including the Prime Minister, will be required to remain in quarantine for 21 days. This is a great sacrifice for the friendly state.

The Prime Minister of Bhutan also attended a dinner hosted by the Prime Minister yesterday.

According to the schedule, the Prime Minister of Bhutan will visit the Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday morning and hold a formal meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In the afternoon he went to the president of Bangabhaban. You will meet Abdul Hamid. He will then join the ‘Mujib Chirantan’ function in the National Parade Square as the guest of honor on the occasion of the Mujib Year and the Golden Jubilee of Independence. He will also speak there. You will return to Bhutan on Thursday morning at the end of the tour.
