Stating that the Constitution and the state will be treated harshly, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed said that Bangabandhu is part of the constitution. A large rally was held in Dhaka under the motto ‘Respect the father of the nation, I will support Mora Amlan’. It was chaired by the Chief Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office. Ahmed Kaikaus. Helaluddin Ahmed, Chairman of the Bangladesh Administrative Services Association and Senior Secretary of the Department of Local Government delivered a welcoming speech.
Representatives of all the cadres spoke at the rally. Among them were Police Inspector General Benazir Ahmed, BCS Fiscal Association Secretary General Fazle Hayat Kaiser, BCS Women’s Network President, and Food Secretary Dr. Moshammat Nazmanara Khanum, Director General (DG) of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education Syed Golam Faruk on behalf of the BCS Board of Education, Bikash Kumar Saha, Secretary General of the Bangladesh Judicial Services Association and Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Law, AM Selim Rezaar Shamsul Alam of the box, Sham Golam Kibria of the information box and others.
