When asked if some cops maintain a drug union because of their duty in Cox’s Bazar, DIG Anwar Hossain said: “A lot of cops are being transferred. This means that now those who have already joined or will join Cox’s Bazaar are all new. Speaking of maintaining the union, the newcomers are not involved in the union. So the newcomers will be instructed that way by the police. So that they remain vocal against drugs. If there is a drug union We’ll break it down and try to prevent any new illegal syndicates from showing up at Cox’s Bazar.

Teknaf (OC) Police Officer in Charge Pradeep Kumar Das, Inspector Liakat Ali and 11 other police officers are in jail in connection with the murder of Sinha’s older sister, Sharmin Shahriar.

Then everyone praises them. Now the police are trying to overcome the lost crisis in Cox’s Bazar. In addition, the Bangladesh police have decided to mobilize manpower to disband the yaba or drug union in Cox’s Bazar.
According to Cox’s Bazar District Police, the number of transfers as of Friday was 1,346. Among them are the Police Superintendent, eight senior officers, including the Additional Police Superintendent, 34 inspectors, including OCs in charge of eight police stations, 156 SI, 92 ASI, 1055 Naiks, and officers. They are all being transferred to different ranks and divisions outside the Chittagong range.

According to law enforcement sources, 36 police inspectors, 75 SI-ASI and 634 officers, including COs from eight police stations in Cox’s Bazar, joined the Chittagong Range DIG office today to fill the vacancies. An entirely new workforce will join the Cox’s Bazar District Police by September 30.
Previously, on September 17, SP ABM Masud Hossain was transferred to Cox’s Bazar as SP of Rajshahi. Jhenaidah SP Mohammad Hasanuzzaman was placed in charge of the Cox’s Bazar district police. The new SP took over last Wednesday. SP Masud Hossain officially left Cox’s Bazar on Thursday in a flower-decorated vehicle.
At the beginning of August 31, Chittagong Range DIG Khandaker Golam Faruk at the Bangladesh Police Academy in Saradha, Rajshahi and Commissioner of the Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP). Anwar Hossain was transferred to the Chittagong Range DIG post. Anwar Hossain took over the Chittagong Range on September 6. Then, on September 6, he exchanged views with members of the Cox’s Bazar district police.
That day, DIG Anwar Hossain asked members of the Cox’s Bazar police to perform their duties professionally. He said that people’s trust must be earned by working with a cooperative attitude towards the common man and everyone in other professions. All must be respected. After exchanging views with members of the Teknaf Police Station on September 9, the DIG said discipline and security should be established in the area through proper implementation of the law. The police station will be a safe haven for all peace-loving people. The police station area must be crime-free with people of all classes and professions.
