Chittagong: ‘I heard the loud sound of bullets from home. I got out fast.

I saw several terrorists rush into the GNC autorickshaws and flee. I ran to where they came from. By then, everything will be over. Director Gopal Krishna Muhuri has been brutally murdered. What a horrible sight! ‘

19 years ago, on November 17, 2001, after hearing the verdict of the Appeals Division in the murder case of Gopal Krishna Muhuri, director of Nazirhat College, Jamalkhan, Chittagong, recalled the PP MA Nasser Special Court for Women and Child Abuse-2 (Chittagong).

At that time he was the councilor of the 21st Jamalkhan district of Chasik and the leader of the Nagar Awami League.

MA Naser told banglanews that less than 100 yards from my house is the house of director Gopal Krishna Muhuri. The Jamaat-Shibir terrorists came to the kill in a GNC autorickshaw. The leader of the Awami League Sajeda Chowdhury, Bahauddin Nasim, our Mohiuddin Bhai and some local MPs were also present. I informed the scene leader of the terrorists’ departure. He not only brought human comfort to the Muhuri family. He also secured cooperation in the trial such as the brutal murder. Today the verdict of the appeal has been delivered. I’m happy about that. MA Naser added.
