Our goal this time was to increase the price of potatoes. I did not expect such a catastrophic situation to increase the price. Especially low-income people, rickshaw drivers, truck drivers, workers have suffered a lot. Can’t think of that price. It is sold for 50 rupees or more.
He said that this time potatoes have been given as a relief. I also asked the Rohingya for potatoes. That is why the use of potatoes has increased. Also, vegetables have rotted a lot in the last 5 months of continuous rains, people have become dependent on potatoes. Otherwise, the price of potatoes should not be so high.
Abdur Razzak said: “I hope the price of potatoes will go down when the new potatoes arrive.” This time there will be a lot of potatoes. There is no reason for us to have a shortage of potatoes. We have enough potatoes. Hopefully this is not a problem in the future. We still wonder how to export potatoes. We are very sorry for this catastrophe. Low-income people are suffering.
