Dhaka: NAP Bhasani has organized a human chain program to protest the vandalism of the sculptures of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the leader of the anti-British movement Bagha Jatin.
The program of the human channel was held on Sunday, December 20 at 11:15 am in front of the National Press Club of the capital.
NAP Bhasani Chairman Mostaq Ahmed Bhasani presided over the function as Democratic League Chairman MA Jalil, Swadhinata Party Chairman Mizanur Rahman Mizu, NAP Bhasani Leader Anisuzzaman and others spoke.
Speaking on the occasion, NAP Bhasani Chairman Mostaq Ahmed Bhasani said that the fundamentalist clique has re-emerged. They must be eradicated. If this evil power cannot be eradicated, the country will become a fundamentalist state.
He said that the fundamentalist clique has committed a heinous crime by vandalizing the sculptures of Bangabandhu and Bagha Jatin. They should be brought under the law immediately and severely punished.
