Dhaka: The government has extended the ongoing license of all educational institutions in the country from October 3 to 31.
The Ministry of Education on Thursday (October 1) announced the decision to extend the holiday.
MA Khair, a public relations officer at the Ministry of Education, said the country’s educational institutions have vacations until October 3 due to the current global corona epidemic. The current holidays have been extended until October 31.
After the first coronary heart disease was identified in the country on March 6 of this year, following a seven-day general holiday from March 26 to May 30, limited office space was opened on May 31 and public transportation from June 1. The government has closed all kinds of educational institutions since March 16.
Due to the epidemic, the license of the educational institution was extended from September 1 to October 3.
Classes are broadcast on television at the primary and secondary levels amid the closure of educational institutions. And educational institutions are running online classes at the upper and upper secondary education levels.
Corona is scheduled to cancel the elementary school and ibtedayi final exams this year and evaluate the school’s annual exams. The eighth class JSC-JDC exam has also been canceled. Final exams for the fifth and eighth classes would be held in November.
And while the HSC exam was supposed to take place starting April 1, it has been postponed due to the crown.
Education Minister Dipu Moni said in an exchange of views with Shikshabit reporters on Wednesday that the HSC’s testing routine would be released within four weeks between Monday and Tuesday next week.
