The lawyers said that after the death of Abhimanya Mandal from Halia village in Batiaghata, Khulna, the agricultural land he left was registered in the name of his widow Gauri Dasir. Gauri Dasir’s brother-in-law, Jyotindra Nath Mandal, filed a case to correct this record. The court dismissed his request on May 30, 1997.

Subsequently, Jyotindra Nath Mandal appealed against the verdict to the Khulna Joint District Court of Judges. Following the hearing, on March 7, 2004, the court rejected Jyotindra Nath Mandal’s application.

In 2004, he filed a civil review in Superior Court. After hearing the lawsuit, the Superior Court dismissed it on Wednesday.
