Chitranayak-MP Akbar Hossain Pathan Farooq will be taken to Singapore tomorrow (September 13) for advanced treatment. Not in a passenger, not even in an air ambulance – this hero and leader is being taken away on a cargo plane!
You will be transferred to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in the country on a cargo flight from Dhaka Shahjalal International Airport at 7:30 am on Sunday. He will be accompanied by his wife Farhana Farooq. You have confirmed the matter.
Farhana Farooq said: ‘The situation in Corona is quite complicated. Passenger flights are not regular. Meanwhile, there is no chance to waste time. So you will be taken to Singapore on a special cargo plane flight. We have been in contact with the hospital for quite some time. You will be taken to Mount Elizabeth Hospital tomorrow after receiving permission.
He added that Farooq was being transferred to Singapore as his blood infection and fever did not subside.
Meanwhile, the hero Farooq was asked why he had to go on a cargo plane. In response, the freedom fighter told the Bengali Tribune: ‘Look, I’m not a special person. Isn’t the cargo an airplane? And that’s my life. I’ve been close to the land and people my whole life. I have fought the war of liberation, I have acted, and I am trying to do public service again. As a result, I have no difference between a private jet and a cargo plane. And let me also say that the government is more aware of my treatment. Everyone looks for morning and afternoon. It says, what do I need? But I don’t want to take anything, as long as I can afford it. I just want everyone’s blessings. So that I can recover and return to human service. ‘
Farooq was admitted to the United Hospital in the capital on August 16. Although various tests were performed, including the crown, it was not possible to recover the cause of the disease. Corona’s results are also repeatedly negative. After several days of treatment in the hospital, Farooq recovered and went home on August 27.
He was subsequently admitted to the hospital again on August 31. In addition to the corona, typhoid, dengue and malaria samples were also analyzed. Everything is negative. But the fever did not subside and he was transferred to Evercare Hospital (Old Apollo) in the capital on September 5. After that, Farooq’s family prepared to take him to Singapore.
Mount Elizabeth Hospital physician Mr. Lai is coordinating everything.
