RAB official Ashiq Billah said he hoped the government department in question would investigate his assets.
He said that in addition to the illegal arms trade, Malek also confessed to extorting money through intimidation.
The RAB suspects that Malek also used to do “transfer business” as he was the driver of important people in the office.
