In a press release on Saturday (March 13), Prime Bank said that Rashid had been working as an additional managing director of Eastern Bank before joining Prime Bank.
While working at Eastern Bank for eight years, he has been instrumental in achieving balance sheet growth and advancing transformation.
Meanwhile, a week before the deadline, the bank’s managing director (MD) Rahel Ahmed resigned at the board meeting on December 6 last year.
According to Prime Bank sources, Raheel Ahmed’s contract expires on December 13 this year. He has already resigned after receiving the news that his mandate as a doctor has not been extended.
Rahel Ahmed joined Prime Bank on December 14, 2016 as Managing Director. Before that, he was Deputy Managing Director of Prime Bank.
