Another leader of the organization, Islamic spokesman Hasan Jamil, recommended Hefazat leader Maulana Mamunul Haque to go on a tour. By the way, on Saturday (March 3) morning, Mamunul Haque went up to room 501 at the Royal Resort in Sonargaon with a woman. After the matter became known in the area, the agitated crowd entered the compound and blocked it along with the woman. Upon receiving the news, the police headed there and rescued Mamunul Haque from the agitated crowd.
Hefazat leaders and activists went to the Royal Resort and trashed it after video of the incident spread through social media. Later, Hefazat leaders and activists removed him from the compound.
Sonargaon OC Police Station (Investigation) Tabid Rahman said that when Hifazat leaders and activists started rioting, they released Mamunul Haque. Later, Hefazat leaders and activists took Mamunul Haque and his partner away.
Mamunul Haque claimed that the woman he was with was his second wife. Her name is Amena Tayyaba. He married the woman according to Islamic law. However, the woman introduced herself as Jannat Ara Jannat.
