Half of the capital’s population is affected by the crown: research

A study has claimed that half of the people in the capital are affected by the crown. He further said that the corona infection began in the country in mid-February, not March of this year.

The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) and the International Center for Diarrhea Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR, B) said in a joint study on Monday.

The two institutes presented research data on the status of the crown and genetic mutation in a hotel in the capital. They said the study was done using antibody tests.

The study claimed that 24 percent of the victims were in their sixties. It shows that three-quarters of the population in the capital’s slums are affected by the crown. It is also found that 45 percent of those affected by corona had no symptoms. The survey was conducted in 25 districts of the capital.

Health Minister Jahed Malek addressed the function as the main guest. Mirzadi Sebrina Flora, former Director, IEDCR and Additional Director General, Department of Health chaired the function.

The Additional Director General of the Department of Health said: ‘If we do not follow the rules of compliance with the health rules of all people in Bangladesh, it will be difficult for us to control the crown. If we want to be tax free, then we have to wear the mask. No alternative. And also, if we adhere to social distances and wash our hands repeatedly with soap, we can protect ourselves.
