Police arrested two Awami League leaders accused of gang-raping a 15-year-old girl in Daganbhuiyan, Feni. The accused herbalists Karim Mahajan and Belal Hossain were arrested and sent to jail by the court on Thursday night. In the early afternoon, the victim’s mother filed a case against them under the Prevention of Abuse of Women and Children Act.

The girl’s mother wrote in the complaint that they have long been renting Alamgir’s house in the town of Betua, in district 3 of the municipality. Herbalist Karim Mahajan raped his daughter after displaying various temptations for a long time.
On the other hand, Belal Hossain has been raping her for the past three months. At one point, when the teenager became pregnant, Karim Mahajan performed an abortion. When the incident became known, an attempt was made to resolve the matter locally with money. OC said. Imtiaz Ahmed added that the teenager was sent to Feni General Hospital on Friday for a physical exam. He will later be sent to court to testify under section 22.
