Panchagarh, the northernmost district of the country, has once again recorded the lowest temperature in the country. The Tentulia Meteorological Office recorded a temperature of 7.5 degrees Celsius at 9 a.m. on Monday. However, as the daytime temperature continues to rise, the cold snap has gradually started to subside. The cold wave prevails in a wide area for four consecutive days since last Friday. Rajarhat in Kurigram recorded a low of 6.8 degrees Celsius on Saturday, the lowest this season.
Meteorologist Omar Farooq said a mild to moderate cold wave prevails in Tentulia, Rajarhat, Gopalganj, Sitaku, Comilla, Badalgachhi, Srimangal and Chuadanga. In some of these places, the situation can be cut by gradually increasing the temperature. Also, the minimum temperature in most of the divisions of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet and Mymensingh is between 9 and 14 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather forecast, the trend of rising temperatures will continue for the next three days. The climate throughout the country will remain dry. There may be moderate to heavy fog in the country’s river basins from midnight to morning and there may be light to moderate fog in other parts of the country.

As a result, the common people of the northern region have become unemployed. Russell Shah, the officer in charge of the Tentulia Meteorological Center, said the temperature registered at 7.5 degrees Celsius at 9 a.m. on Monday. The day before, Sunday morning, the temperature was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius.
