The autorickshaw driver was caught with yaba in a land dispute in Taltoli, Barguna. Police arrested a man named Abul Hossain from Yaba Chakra in the incident. The other two are fugitives.

The Nizam settled with Jomaddar Abul and his associates for four thousand rupees. Later on Friday, around 12 noon, a man named Zahirul Islam stopped his car at the Sadar Road bus stop area and went to a store to buy products. Abul Hossain and his three accomplices put 3 pieces of yaba and 5 grams of cannabis under the seat of Zahirul’s car. Abul then informed the police. Police recovered yaba and cannabis from under the autorickshaw seat and arrested Zahirul.
Following Zahirul’s arrest, when police became suspicious of the matter, they detained informant Abul Hossain on Friday night and initially questioned him. Abul said his opponent Nizam Jomaddar paid Tk 4,000 for a land dispute with Zahirul’s family. With that money he bought yaba and cannabis and left it in the car and was framed.
